The current research effort is conducted at the Baillet Latour chair on error management at Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management, a faculty of Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). It is hosted by the Centre Emile Bernheim research center.
Dr. Vincent Giolito, lead researcher. Vincent has led much of the research effort of the Baillet Latour Chair on Error Management since 2014. Holding a doctorate in business administration from Université Paris-Dauphine and an MBA from INSEAD, he also advises CEOs on leadership and organization. He previously was business journalist and editor for French leading newspaper Le Figaro.
Prof. Paul Verdin, chair director. Paul is Professor in Strategy and Organization at Solvay BS-EM and Professor of Strategy & International Management at K.U.Leuven. He is currently a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School (USA). He was on the faculty at INSEAD for 25 years. Prof. Verdin holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics at Harvard University, where he was a Teaching Fellow. He combined this with work at McKinsey&Co., Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, the I.M.F. and the World Bank.
Irene Ingardi, PhD Researcher. Ever since her Masters degree, Irene has focused on how to combine efficient business management with artistic expression and social impact. A co-founder of Antiheroes, a consultancy whose expertise is centered on failure, she has an extended experience in organizing events (FuckUp Nights Brussels, Living On the Edge) and has experience in the non profit sector (ProjectForPeople, Use-it) and in European research programs (Artshare, EU Digital Single Market STARTS Initiative in H2020 program). Irene holds a Masters degree in Management science from Solvay BS-EM.
